F.A.Q. / Contact
Please read through the following questions before emailing us. Most logical questions will be answered below. If you email us with a question that is listed in the F.A.Q. below, we will not waste time with a response.
We can be reached by sending and email to [email protected] Q: I having an issue placing an order. Can you help me? A: Issues when placing an order are generally caused by an out of date broswer. Please try updating your browser / device, or attempt your order from a different browser / device. To date, this has been the solution every time there has ever been an issue. If you still can not place the order, email us directly at [email protected]. Please provide any relative information in your email, as I will need some basic information regarding the issue so I can attempt to correct it. Q: How long does it take for my order to ship? A: Orders will usually have a lead time. These times are noted in the product listings and change periodically depending on work load. Q: I need a port, but I need it faster than the listed time to ship. How can I get my order shipped faster? A: Unfortunately we cannot offer expedited shipping.. Q: I am attempting to place an order and your website will not accept my address. Why will it not accept my address? A: We only ship to the contiguous 48 states. If you are outside of this area we cannot ship there. We use UPS, so we also can not ship to an APO address or P.O. box. Q: Can I order a custom spec port? A: We are unable to take requests for custom ports. Q: I have a port and the joints aren't the same tightness. Is there something wrong? A: No, there is nothing wrong with your port. PVC pipe has slightly inconsistent wall thicknesses, which causes the slip joints to be different at times. This inconsistency can run through the entire length of the pipe on a majority of the pipe we handle. The slip joint is not intended to be structural, it is mainly just intended to align the components of the port for assembly. Q: How do I put my port together? A: We recommend a high quality shipping tape. 3" wide GORILLA clear shipping tape is highly recommended. A: Metal foil tapes, hvac tapes, standard gorilla tape (and similar) and other "duct tape" (and similar) are not recommended, and we strongly advise against those. We recommend only clear shipping tape. Q: I don't know what size or length port I need. My box is ** cubic feet and i want to tune to **hz. What port port size and length do I need? A: We do not offer enclosure designs or recommendations. You can find a list of builders who are familiar with our product in the Recommended Builders and Designers tab of the menu. Port calculations are a part of the enclosure design process, you will need to obtain this information from your box builder. Q: What is the cutout size / flare diameter / length of my port? A: You can find this information in the product listings. Q: My question hasn't been answered by any of the listed questions. How can I contact you? A: You can email us directly at [email protected] A: If you have an existing order, include the order number in your email so we can actually reference the order to help answer your question. A: Please provide detailed information relating to your issue. |
