Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How long does it take for my order to ship?
A: Orders usually ship in 1-2 weeks from the time the order is placed. This time is necessary as everything we offer is hand made in-house. We do not have the luxury to just resell someone elses work and slap a shipping label on it. If you are wondering why it may take up to 2 weeks to make your port, the answer is that it doesn't, that is the time it takes to make everyone elses before you.

Q: I need a port, but I need it faster than the listed time to ship. How can I get my order shipped faster?
A: We do not offer any expedited shipping, nor do we guarantee delivery dates. Please allow appropriate time when ordering a port. All of our ports are made to order.

Q: I waited until the very last minute to order a port, and I completely ignored the 1-2 weeks shipping time that is clearly listed directly between the price and the add to cart button when I placed my order. If you can't ship my order faster then I want a refund! How do I get my refund?
A: Just send us an email, cry us a river, and we will gladly refund the order minus a 15% "aggravation and waste of time fee".

Q: I am attempting to place an order and your website will not accept my address. Why will it not accept my address?
A: We only ship to the contiguous 48 states. If you are outside of this area we do not ship there. We use UPS, so we also can not ship to an APO address.

Q: I need a port but I need something custom that isn't listed or available on your website. How can I order it?
A: If it isn't listed for sale on our website then we do not sell it, which also means we do not make it. We do not make anything custom, only the versa-tune pattern. Please do not ask for custom work as the request will be ignored.

Q: I need to order one individual piece of a port instead of the entire port, but you do not have any on your website. How can I order this?
A: We do not sell individual components, only complete port kits in the length options you see in the listings.

Q: I am 17 years old and my mommy is going to buy me a car if i'm really good in school. I am about to do "the build that will change car audio forever". How can i get sponsored?
A: We do not offer sponsorships. Almost every time we have ever done this we get burned.

Q: I have a port and the joints aren't the same tightness. Is there something wrong?
A: No, there is nothing wrong with your port. PVC pipe has slightly inconsistent wall thicknesses, which causes the slip joints to be different at times. This inconsistency can run through the entire length of the pipe on a majority of the pipe we handle. This is also partially why we do not sell individual components. The slip joint is not intended to be structural, it is mainly just intended to align the components of the port for assembly.

Q: How do I put my port together?
A: We recommend a high quality shipping tape. 3" wide GORILLA clear shipping tape is highly recommended.
A: Metal foil tapes, hvac tapes, standard gorilla tape (and similar) and other "duct tape" (and similar) are not recommended, and we strongly advise against those. We also advise against any sort "colored" shipping tape.

Q: I dont know what size or length port I need. My box is ** cubic feet and i want to tune to **hz. What port port size and length do I need?
A: We do not offer enclosure designs or recommendations. You can find a list of builders who are familiar with our product in the Recommended Builders and Designers tab of the menu.

Q: What is the cutout size / flare diameter / length of my port?
A: You can find this information in the product listings.

Q: My question hasn't been answered by any of the listed questions. How can I contact you?

A: If you have an existing order, include the order number in your email so we can actually reference the order to help answer your question.
